Ambergris Caye (April 5 - April 9)
Belize adventure Chapter 4 brought us to Ambergris Caye for our dear friends Matty and Devon's wedding. Time for celebration! And a BIG congratulations to Matt and Dev!
Highlights: Rum Punch welcome drink at
Costa Blu Resort, big hello hugs from Matt and Devon, 3 pools including swim-up bar, seeing friends, Palapas, Devon's friends from University of Denver (DU), Taco Bar, Speeches, beautiful ceremony, letters to open on 5 year anniversary, Garifuna drummers, more speeches, dancing, Belizean rum-and-wine-shot-taking-conga-line, after party, sleeping in, snorkeling at
Hol-Chan, Spotted Eagle Ray, Loggerhead Turtle (yay!), Morey Eel, Pepper & Sherry as guides and talking about growing up in Belize,
Shark Ray Alley, big group dinner, FaceTime with Maddy, watching MN Bulldogs play DU - Frozen Four Hockey (Dad and Jon were there), goodbyes, travel home (delays, delays but made it to MN), excited to see Maddy!!
